In Brunate, there are several restaurants. The ones that I am recommending here are the ones that I also frequent. If you discover any others during your stay, please let me know. I am passionate about good food and drink and am always open to trying something new.
Capolinea Bistrot
If you have arrived in Brunate by Funicular, you certainly have noticed it. The menu is simple but accurate. It’s also an excellent spot for a quick Italian aperitif.

Trattoria del Cacciatore
This place is just a stone’s throw away from home. They serve traditional dishes, and it’s always recommended to make a reservation.
Falchetto
This quiet place is absolutely perfect for a dinner at sunset. Good food in a relaxing atmosphere. Ideal for those looking for something a little out of the way.
La Polenteria
A rustic restaurant with genuine and simple dishes. This place is near to the lighthouse where the view is magnificent. It’s reachable by car, and reservations are recommended.
In Como
If you are looking for a restaurant in Como, I suggest starting from the area of Piazza Volta and via Borgo Vico. There are plenty of opportunities to try good Italian food!

Restaurants on the lake
Momi, Blevio
It’s definitely one of the most beautiful locations on Lake Como. If you want to arrive by boat, just ask. We will try to organize an unforgettable experience for you. The venue is very small, so a reservation is absolutely necessary.
Locanda del Cantiere, Laglio
Just a few steps from the lake, in the original setting of a former shipyard, right in the heart of Laglio. George Clooney’s Villa Oleandra is just a two-minute walk away. It’s also possible to arrive by boat.
Crotto dei Platani, Brienno
A very elegant location on the lake. In this case, it’s also possible to organize a dinner with an aperitif on the boat. The venue is always very busy, so a reservation is absolutely mandatory.

Trattoria del Glicine, Cernobbio
This restaurant is not on the lake, but it’s one of my “favorite places”. It’s also one of the most well-known venues on Lake Como, even rated on the prestigious Michelin Guide.
